Truth received is light lived

A yoke is often thought of as bondage or something for prisoners of war. Yet, in God's terms, it grants you access to Christ's infinite atonement. A power vast enough to make the vilest of us whole. A gift of love to enable you to be more than you can be on your own. And grace to convert your weakness to a strength. But this is not all. God's work and glory is to prepare you to receive all that He has.

When you elect to take Christ's yoke upon you, you tap into His grace. But this is not to be ever learning and never coming to the knowledge of the Truth. Truth received is light lived. Christ taught you to live His words to know the Source of them. Living His words is to live in His vine, which secures becoming one with Him. Outside the vine of Christ, you may do mighty works according to your neighbor, but they amount to no-thing if you are not tapped into The Source of every good thing.

Life is not a pass or fail exam based on the scriptures you memorize. It is a school to prepare you to receive all that God has. Does God grant all that He has to those that memorize scriptures, but act them not out? Further, what about those that do things in His name, like live the laws of success, but their hearts are far from Him? Life is about more than building an empire, it is to build His kingdom.

Building God’s kingdom can only be done with instruction from Him. One of my favorite titles of His is Man of Counsel. When you live the teachings of Christ, you become one in Him, as He is one with God. Including having the honor of communing with God the Father in the name of Christ. As you continue to receive counsel from Him, by keeping your covenant to remember Christ always, you will have His Holy Spirit to be with you.

I invite you to take up His yoke that you may be one with Christ as He is with Father via His Holy Spirit. It will guide you as you get lost in the service of others by pointing them to the Source. When you remember Him always you will stand on higher, holier ground, and that will prepare you to abide in His presence. The day shall come that you know Truth, and He shall take His abode with you from time to time. Learn to live by the Holy Ghost’s instructions, first through the light of Christ in you, unto having Him as a constant companion. Then He will instruct you until you become perfect in Christ, leading you to life eternal—which is to know God, or His Son—even to know Truth.
